Division A of General Pediatrics(Neurology & Gastroenter

With 9 doctors,16 physical therapists,3 electrophysiologists,14 nurses,32 beds,our division is specialized in pediatric neurological development and rehabilitation,neurophysiological examination,and gastrointestinal endoscopy.  

We are experienced in

• diagnosis and treatment of high risky neurological diseases,such as epilepticism, coma, myasthenia gravis; neurological infectious diseases and demyelinating diseases; neurological development disorders, such as cerebral palsy, autism, transient tic disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, difficulty of learning; muscular diseases, like muscular dystrophy, myositis, mitochondrial encephalomyopathy;

• diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases, such as acute diarrhea,persisting chronic bacillary diarrhea, esophageal regurgitation, chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, alimentary tract hemorrhage, ulcerative colitis, necrotizing enterocolitis, chronic abdominal pain,constipation, pancreatitis;

• endoscopic diagnosis and treatment, such as endoscopic hemostasis, removal of foreign bodies in upper digestive tract, endoscopic nasal jejunal feeding tube placement.

In recent years,we have tutored ten postgraduates for master's or doctor's degree,trained about 150 medical professionals.Over ten medical researches have been conducted,including four projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
