Division of Gynaecology

The Division of Gynecology of West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University is a national key clinical discipline construction project unit, and one of the first batch of Gynecological Endoscopic Diagnosis and Treatment Technique Training Centers, as well as doctoral program and post-doctoral station of the State Education Commission. Besides, our disvision is honored to be Chengdu Gynecological Cancer Prevention and Treatment Center of the China Cancer Foundation, and training base of level IV gynecological endoscopic surgery authenticated by the Ministry of Health. We are granted both national and Sichuan Quality Control Center of the Prevention and Treatment of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, resident standardized training base, along with national clinical drug trial base. With advanced equipment and exquisite technologies supported by the Ministry of Health, our division is consistently at the forefront of gynecology field in China. We offer a complete range of health care services for women from adolescence to menopause and beyond. To deliver the full range of gynecologic issues, our gynecology services include a number of sub-specialty divisions that provide more specialized care, including gynecological oncology, female pelvic medicine & reconstructive surgery and general gynecology. We also offer each patient a coordinated treatment plan involving experts from a wide array of gynecologic cancer specialties, including gynecologic oncology surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and nurse practitioners. The 5-year survival rate of patients with ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer and cervical cancer have been significantly improved by comprehensive treatment. With generations of unremitting efforts, our division has earned a far-reaching reputation for clinical excellence and research innovations that are shaping the field of women's health.

Moreover, there are 47 experts with senior titles in our division, among which there are 8 doctoral tutors and 12 master tutors. As the Doctoral Program and Post-Doctoral Station of the State Education Commission, and Standardized Resident Training Base, teaching and education are at the core of our mission. We are committed to providing the highest-quality care.
