The laboratory was jointly applied by the National Drug Clinical Trial Institution of our hospital, Sichuan Institute for Drug Control and West China College of Pharmacy of Sichuan University, and approved by the National Medical Products Administration in February 2021. The laboratory consists of 5 research units, including research on innovative preparation process, quality control methods of generic drugs and innovative preparations and their correlation in vitro and in vivo, research on biological sample analysis methods of pharmaceutical preparations, clinical research center for innovative drugs and preparations and evidence-based evaluation of effectiveness and safety of innovative preparations. Our hospital is mainly responsible for 3 research units, including the quality control methods of generic drugs and innovative preparations and their correlation in vitro and in vivo, clinical research center for innovative drugs and preparations and evidence-based evaluation of effectiveness and safety of innovative preparations.
